Description:
The Professional Renewal Center is an internationally known, behavioral health center that specializes in assessing and treating physicians with disruptive behavior, sexual misconduct and boundary violations, mood and personality disorders, and substance and behavioral addiction issues.
As PRC is an intensive outpatient facility, clients stay at off-site locations during treatment. We encourage clients to stay in the same location to foster a therapeutic environment after hours.
Our evaluation is a five-day multidisciplinary process that runs Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm each day. The Day Treatment program runs concurrently, Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm. The minimum length of stay in the Day Treatment program is two weeks; an average length of stay is six weeks. PRC customizes each client's treatment program and incorporates additional services such as EMDR, DBT, and Alpha Theta Neurofeedback into the treatment process when clinically appropriate.

Description:
Acumen Assessments conducts multidisciplinary assessments with adherence to a process of forensic inquiry and scrutiny that takes into account multiple levels of analysis. When a professional comes to Acumen for an assessment, our position is to maintain objectivity by taking into account various forms of bias that could adversely affect our clinical opinions, including our subjective perspective and attributions. This is why a sound multidisciplinary evaluation includes multiple opinions so as to reduce biases at different levels of analysis (e.g., psychological, psychiatric, medical, social and professional domains of functioning). In the end, our goal is threefold:
• To help the client and others involved gain a deeper understanding of his/her predicament • Make recommendations, if indicated, that are clearly tied to the assessment findings and data • To help preserve the safety and integrity of those whom the client serves within his/her profession
Highly Individualized Evaluations and Treatment to address:
• Professional Sexual Misconduct • Disruptive Behavior • Psychiatric Illness • Personality Disorders • Compulsive Behavior Problems • Co-Occurring Substance Abuse/Dependence and Psychiatric Disorders
